About Permanent Beauty

Petra Timmerman
Owner Permanent Beauty
My name is Petra Timmerman, after years of working as a secretary and management assistant, I started (again) on August 10, 2019 with applying permanent make-up in my practice in Hoofddorp. The 1-on-1 contact with customers is what I missed at the office.
My background
It was more than 20 years ago that I came into contact with Permanent Make-up. I have a scar on my eyebrow and had plucked too much, so I only had very thin eyebrows. Permanent makeup was on the rise so I decided to do it. Because I don't do extensive make-up every day but want to look good, it is ideal for me. The permanent make-up has never gone away. I faithfully go back every 1.5 to 2 years to update my permanent make-up (PMU). I myself have microblading (eyebrows) and a designer eyeliner on top. This is a thick eyeliner of 2 to 3 mm.
This good experience was also the impetus to follow a training myself and to do treatments in my practice in Maasland. Because I had children, I stopped my practice but ... ... the blood is creeping where it cannot go and now, after years of working as a management secretary, the time has come for me to pick up my profession again. I am now busy refreshing my knowledge and skills. I have now been trained by one of the best PMU masters in the Netherlands and I am really looking forward to this new challenge. Nice to be able to give my customers beautiful eyebrows or an eyeliner (again). People who do it purely for convenience or for people who have trouble doing their make-up themselves. Adjusting the shape of the eyebrow or properly styling too many plucked eyebrows. Good eyebrows give your face a beautiful, powerful look. Permanent makeup works for (almost) everyone. For example, for people who lose their hair (partly) due to an autoimmune disease such as Alopecia or cancer, it is nice to be able to have eyebrows through permanent make-up.
